Rarely seen in a 4 seat version, most are a 2 seat MPH special

RF60 dated 1959 / 1965 on file
Fresh rubber adorns the knock on wire wheels (4.75 5.50 x 18 inch)
It was rebuilt by a Riley Register member from a derelict 1935 12/4 Riley Kestrel 22T, over a period of 28 years from 1978, when the mileage was recorded as 32282 miles.
It has done a trouble free 4500+ miles since then and runs very well.
The steering, braking (Girling rod operated) and rear axle have received a thorough overhaul over the last 3 years.
Recently, a new battery has been fitted and the radiator re-cored.
BXA 740 was built as much as possible in the “Riley Spirit” and retains a majority of original Riley fittings.
The Riley has been used extensively and oozes 30's patina.
The car has a classic and desirable low line and sporty shape a perfect car for the weekend jaunts that you can even take you family with you.
it drives really well with it very desirable punchy 1.5 Litre twin cam engine known as the 12/4 with twin SU Carbs.
Selecting through the gears with the Armstrong Siddeley Pre-Selector takes you right back to the 1930's.
Currently being re-trimmed in Black, wheels powder coated back black and a new dash board fabricated.
